Ppgi Color Wood Grain Coated Steel Coil
The first step in producing high-quality 2D and 3D wood-grain color-coated coils is cleaning and degreasing the steel strip, followed by pre-treatments like pickling to enhance the adhesion of subsequent coatings. Next, a primer is sprayed on to create a uniform base color, providing the foundation for the subsequent wood-grain effect.
The core of wood-grain color-coated coils lies in wood-grain transfer technology. This process uses a special transfer film to precisely transfer the natural wood grain pattern to the steel coil surface. During the transfer process, high temperature and pressure are used to firmly adhere the wood grain pattern to the metal surface, mimicking the texture and color variations of real wood.
The innovative highlight of 3D wood-grain color-coated coils lies in their realistic wood grain appearance, which can add a warm and natural atmosphere to building exterior walls, interiors, roofs, and other spaces. Even in environments where solid wood is not suitable, the wood-like visual effect can be achieved, saving space and decoration costs.
