Product Introduction

The R201C rotary evaporator can form a thin film under constant temperature heating and negative pressure conditions, while simultaneously distilling out the solvent for condensation and recovery. It is particularly suitable for concentrating, crystallizing, separating, and recovering heat-sensitive materials. It is an important piece of equipment in the fields of biopharmaceuticals, chemical engineering, and food for research, pilot-scale production, and manufacturing.

 Product Features

1. The AC induction motor features stepless speed regulation, no brushes, no sparks, and a long service life.

2. The PTFE + fluororubber dual seal ensures high vacuum, high evaporation rate, and high recovery rate.

Usage Tips

1. This instrument can be used with 250, 500, 1000, and 2000ML flasks. The standard port is 24#, and the standard configuration comes with 1000ML evaporation flask and collection flask each. Extra large or extra small flasks can be selected by the user. The solution volume should generally not exceed 70% of the flask capacity.

2. There are three external pipe ports on the condenser. Two of them are connected to the internal serpentine condenser tube for cooling water, one for water inlet and one for water outlet. Generally, tap water can be used. The lower the temperature of the cooling water, the higher the efficiency. It can be used with a benchtop low-temperature cooling water circulation pump.

3. The other external port on the condenser (the straight pipe in the middle of the serpentine coil) is connected to the vacuum pump. Apply vacuum grease to the connection between the vacuum interface and the vacuum hose. When evaporating water solutions, the vacuum degree should generally be less than 0.096Mpa to ensure evaporation efficiency. We recommend a water circulation vacuum pump, which is available for supply and sale from our factory.

4. If the vacuum cannot be drawn, please check:

(1) Whether all joints are tightened and vacuum grease is applied properly;

(2) Whether the sealing ring is effective and vacuum grease is applied properly between the glass rotating shaft and the sealing ring;

(3) Whether the vacuum pump and its hose are leaking;

(4) Whether there is any damage to the glass.

Precautions

1. The power plug should be inserted into a three-hole socket with a protective ground wire to ensure the grounding of the motor housing.

2. When installing, disassembling, cleaning, and using glass instruments, handle them carefully to avoid impact, scratches from sharp or hard objects, or sudden temperature changes. Do not heat them directly with an electric stove or open flame. When handling flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive, or valuable solutions, users should take appropriate safety protection measures and follow relevant safety operation regulations.

3. The base should be placed away from table tops that may cause resonance to reduce noise.
