Double-Sided Pegboard Tool Rack — Two Operators Draw Tools From One Stand, Zero Floor Waste
A double-sided pegboard tool rack gives you two full tool walls on one footprint. One operator works each side, pulling wrenches, screwdrivers and sockets off hooks that face them directly — no walking around the rack, no waiting for the other guy. What this rack replaces
Most workshops start with wall-mounted pegboard. It works until it doesn't:

Why cold-rolled steel matters
Cheaper racks use hot-rolled steel. It's cheaper for a reason: the surface is rough and the tolerance is loose. Hooks fit sloppy, wiggle under load, and after a year of a forklift brushing past, the panel bows.
Cold-rolled steel is flatter and stiffer at the same thickness. Hooks seat tight and stay tight. The frame is welded, not riveted — a rivet shears when a heavy torque wrench swings into it; a weld bends and holds.
Powder coating beats paint on the same count. Paint chips at the first impact and rust starts under the chip. Powder coating is baked on — a hit dents it, it doesn't peel.
Hook system: mixed storage on both faces
The perforated panel takes the full hook family:
Single and double hooks — wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers
Long-arm hooks — pry bars, pipe wrenches
Tool holders — ratchets, sockets, hex keys
Hanging bins — small parts, fasteners, consumables
Shelf rails — lay-flat storage for bulky items
Run hooks on one side and bins on the other. One rack does the work of a tool wall plus a parts station.
Installation and moving
No wall anchors required for normal shop use. Optional floor anchor kit available for seismic zones or heavy-vibration lines.
Ships knock-down: moisture film wrapping, corner protectors, separate part packing. Two people assemble it in about 30 minutes with a standard socket set. Moving later means emptying the hooks and rolling it — no wall repairs, no anchor holes to fill.
