275g 100g 40g zero regular small large spangle galvanize steel coil
Spangles are a surface morphology of hot-dip pure zinc coils. When the steel strip passes through the zinc pot, the surface is coated with liquid zinc. Then, during the natural solidification of the zinc layer, zinc grains nucleate and grow, and spangles appear.
American Standard ASTM classification is divided into three categories (ASTM A653):
1. Normal spangle galvanized coil: It is not required to control the zinc layer solidification process, and spangles of various sizes are allowed to be generated during the natural solidification process;
2. Small spangle galvanized coil: It is required to control the zinc layer solidification process to obtain spangles of relatively uniform and small size, but still visible to the naked eye;
3. Zero spangle galvanized coil: Small spangles that are invisible to the naked eye are obtained through control measures.
Influence on the size of spangles of galvanized coils: (1) Raw materials: The thicker the raw steel plate and the smaller the surface roughness, the larger the spangles. (2) Cooling rate: The faster the cooling rate, the shorter the crystal growth time, and the smaller the spangles. (3) Number of crystal centers: The size of the spangle is closely related to the number of spangle centers. Small spangle galvanized coils are suitable for painting, while smooth spangle galvanized coils are suitable for deep drawing. Nowadays, people are demanding to minimize or eliminate spangles.
Hot-dip galvanized coils can be divided into hot-rolled galvanized coils and cold-rolled hot-dip galvanized coils, which are mainly used in construction, home appliances, automobiles, containers, transportation and household industries. Especially steel structure construction, automobile manufacturing, steel silo manufacturing and other industries. Their main features are: strong corrosion resistance, good surface quality, conducive to deep processing, economical and practical, etc.
