The Importance of Deep Drawers for Wax Blocks
Storing wax blocks requires a different approach than storing slides.
Dimensional Fit: Embedding cassettes are thicker. A standard slide drawer is too shallow, forcing blocks to be laid flat, which wastes space and makes retrieval difficult (you have to lift a stack to get the bottom one).
