Aluminum pellets
1. Also known as aluminum shots and aluminum sand, aluminum pellets are made from aluminum ingots containing 90 - 99% aluminum through processes such as repeated wire drawing, cutting, and grinding. They have a shiny appearance and are cylindrical, and are used on the surfaces of aluminum, zinc, or thin - wall workpieces.
2. Applications:
1) They are used for the surface finishing of pipe cleaners, aluminum castings, and copper and zinc castings, sandblasting and grinding of various metal surfaces, deburring of cast workpieces, and sandblasting and grinding of blade surfaces and casting product surfaces. They can make your products flat, smooth, shiny, and achieve a whitening effect.
2) At the same time, aluminum pellets can be mixed with stainless - steel sand and stainless - steel shots to achieve a whiter and brighter effect on the workpiece surface.
3) They are widely used in LED semiconductors for evaporation, and high purity is required.
4. In steel mills, aluminum pellets are usually added to molten steel to react with oxygen in the steel, forming aluminum oxide and thus removing oxygen from the steel. This process can reduce defects such as pores and cracks in castings and improve the quality and performance of castings
