Compared with traditional nickel mesh and nickel powder sintered plates, our NICKEL FELT has significant advantages in structure, performance and application scenarios, which can better meet the needs of harsh working conditions. The core advantages are as follows:
High Purity & Stable Performance: Made of pure nickel fibers with purity ≥99.95% and no harmful impurities, NICKEL FELT features excellent chemical stability, electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. It can operate stably for a long time in acid-base and high-temperature environments, with no easy oxidation or wear, effectively extending equipment service life.
3D Reticulated Structure & Superior Performance: Formed by special felt-laying and ultra-high temperature vacuum sintering processes, it has a uniform 3D reticulated porous structure with porosity of 50%-90% (customizable). With large specific surface area and uniform pore size distribution, it has good water permeability, heat dissipation and gas diffusion capacity, significantly improving the efficiency of electrolysis and filtration.
Flexible Customization & Strong Adaptability: Thickness (0.1mm-5mm), size, porosity, fiber diameter (6μm-40μm) and shape (sheet, round, ring, etc.) can be customized according to customer needs, which can be directly used without additional processing.
Widely Applicable: NICKEL FELT is widely used in water electrolyzer hydrogen production, MH-Ni batteries, fuel cells, industrial filtration, aerospace, medical equipment and other fields. It is especially suitable as the anode gas diffusion layer (GDL) for PEM water electrolysis, a core supporting material for green energy and high-end manufacturing.
High Cost-Effectiveness: Continuous and large-scale production of nickel fibers is realized by cluster wire drawing process, reducing production costs. With long service life and low maintenance cost, it has obvious cost advantage compared with imported NICKEL FELT, an ideal choice for import substitution.
