The Bimetallic Thermometer is designed for direct process reading in demanding industrial environments. It features a bimetallic sensing element—two bonded metal strips with different coefficients of thermal expansion—that translates temperature changes into a mechanical pointer movement on a dial. It requires no external power, batteries, or complex electronics, ensuring fail-safe operation in extreme conditions (-80°C to +600°C).
Bimetallic thermometers’ zero-power operation, customizable designs (e.g., adjustable heads, varied stem lengths), and corrosion resistance make them superior to fragile electronic sensors in harsh environments. Its versatility spans oil/gas, HVAC systems, chemical processing, food production, energy plants, and machinery.
