General description

The 0.1% water standard is prepared by gravimetry using high-purity water and reagents. It is characterized by a DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 accredited quality control (QC) laboratory. The moisture content of the standard is determined by direct coulometric Karl-Fischer titration according to ISO 760.

Applications

This product can be used as a certified reference material (CRM) to verify the accuracy of Karl-Fischer coulometric titrators in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001 7.1.5 "Monitoring and measuring resources". It can also be used to check the accuracy of the measurement results according to the European Pharmacopoeia 2.5.32 "Determination of water (micro determination)". Although it is more suitable for coulometric methods, it can also be used to verify low water content determined by volumetric methods.
