Vacuum Metallised BOPET Film has a high barrier to water vapor, flavor, aroma, and other gases, usually out of a combination with plasma, featuring a highly reflective mirror-like finish. It is used for a wide variety of packaging, laminating, aesthetics, textile ornaments, insulation applications, and so on. When being used for food packaging, VMBOPET film can be composite with other plastic films, such as BOPP, CPP, PE, or PET, having structures like BOPP//VMBOPET//PE or CPP for coffee or milk powder bags. When being used for architecture insulation, it is laminated with EPE foam or fabric to achieve heat, sound, or shielding insulation. When being used for cardboard or printed paper, it is coated with EVA to generate metallised thermal lamination film. Vacuum metalizing foil is formed by coating a thin layer of metal aluminum on the surface of a plastic film by a special process. The most commonly used processing method is vacuum aluminum plating, which is passed through high temperature under a high vacuum. The metal aluminum is melted and evaporated so that the vapor of aluminum is deposited on the surface of the plastic film, then the surface of the plastic film has a metallic luster.
