Boltless Shelving That Doesn't Need Screws—Really?
If you've never seen this type of shelving before, your first question is probably: "Can it really be stable without screws?"
The answer is yes. This boltless shelving system relies on a snap-in connection—the beam clips insert directly into the diamond-shaped holes on the upright posts, and you tap them tight with a rubber hammer. No threaded connections means no stripped screws, no broken bolts, no headaches.
We've tested it: a standard 4-tier unit (2000×2000×600mm), two workers who'd never assembled shelving before, following the manual—20 minutes, tops. Experienced crews do it in 15 minutes. 30 units a day? No problem.
So, How Much Weight Can It Actually Hold?
Standard units handle 200kg per shelf—that's tested capacity, not theoretical.
The shelves are made from cold-rolled steel with proper thickness, and the beams are solid profiles. Powder-coated finish means 8-10 years of use in normal indoor conditions. Got heavier stuff to store? We also offer heavy-duty versions—300kg/shelf, 500kg/shelf—with thicker beams and reinforced posts. Bottom line: it stays put.
Adjust Shelf Height Anytime—No Disassembly Needed
Most traditional shelving locks you into fixed heights once installed. Want to change it? Tear it down and rebuild.
This one's different. The upright posts have adjustment holes every 50mm, and the beam clips slot into any position. Switching from cardboard boxes today to pallets tomorrow? Just clear the shelf, tap out the beams, move them to a new hole, tap them back in. Few minutes, done. No need to touch the other shelves, no impact on stability.
Size and Color? Fully Customizable.
Standard specs are 2000mm high × 2000mm wide × 600mm deep—the size most warehouses use. But we get special requests all the time:
Need 2500mm height? Done.
Want 1200mm width? No problem.
Need 800mm depth? Sure.
Shelf count from 2 to 6 tiers, your choice. Colors? Standard blue and white, but pick any RAL color you want. Large orders? No extra charge. Small batches? Minor color-matching fee—we'll be upfront about it.
Where Does It Work? Warehouses, Factories, Garages—Anywhere.
Warehouses: Ecommerce fulfillment, logistics centers, distribution hubs—this shelving handles it all. Line up multiple units back-to-back or side-by-side. First unit is a starter bay (4 posts), add-on bays after that use just 2 new posts by sharing the adjacent starter post. Saves material, saves money.
Factory floors: Parts, work-in-progress, molds—organized by category, each on its own shelf. Adjustable height means everything from small parts bins to large molds finds its spot. No need to swap out racks for one oversized item.
Garages & workshops: Auto repair shops, tool rooms, MRO storage—heavy tools go on the shelves, easy to grab, floor space freed up.
Cold storage & food plants: Standard coating works fine in normal conditions, but if you're below -20°C or in acidic/alkaline environments, we recommend cold-room grade materials or anti-corrosion coating. Standard powder coating can go brittle in extreme cold—better to say this upfront.
Connecting Multiple Units—How's It Work?
Back-to-back setup? Add cross-bracing between the two rows for extra stability. Side-by-side units? Bolt the adjacent posts together to form a solid structure—even forklift traffic in the aisles won't knock them over.
Starter bay = independent unit with 4 posts. Add-on bay = just 2 new posts, shares 2 posts with the previous unit. Connect them one after another—saves material, saves assembly time.
Questions People Actually Ask
Q: Can I install it myself? How many people do I need? A: Absolutely. Two people, 15-20 minutes per standard 4-tier unit. All you need is a rubber hammer—no drill, no wrench, not even a screwdriver.
Q: Can I adjust the shelf height later? A: Anytime. Clear the items and shelf board, tap out the beams, move to a new hole, tap them back in. Few minutes, no disassembly needed.
Q: Does the rack need to be anchored to the floor? A: 2000mm height in normal use? No. But if you're storing extremely heavy loads, have forklift traffic in the warehouse, or you're in an earthquake-prone area—use expansion bolts to anchor the base plates. Extra peace of mind.
Q: Can I customize the color? A: Yes. Standard colors are blue and white. Any other RAL color is available. Large orders: no extra charge. Small batches: minor color-matching fee (we'll tell you upfront).
Q: How long will the shelving last? A: In dry indoor conditions, not overloaded, with regular inspections and maintenance—8 to 10 years. Actual lifespan depends on your environment and how well you maintain it. We'll be honest about that.

For 2000×2000×600mm units: 20GP fits about 80 units (4-tier) or 65 units (5-tier). 40GP fits about 170 units (4-tier) or 140 units (5-tier). 40HQ fits about 200 units (4-tier) or 165 units (5-tier). Exact numbers vary based on packaging method and whether you're mixing sizes—we'll give you a precise loading plan before you order.
