Flexible rubber joints, also known as rubber hose couplings, bendable rubber joints, or shock-absorbing hoses, are elastic connectors used in piping systems to compensate for multi-directional displacements. They are classified by connection method into loose-flange types, fixed-flange types, and threaded types, and can be structured as single-spherical, double-spherical, bent-spherical, or wind-pressure coil types. The main body of these joints consists of inner and outer rubber layers, a fabric reinforcement layer, and steel wire rings. After vulcanization, they are combined with metal flanges. The manufacturing process involves the use of polyester fabric in an alternating weave, resulting in joints with high airtightness, weather resistance, chemical resistance, and excellent elasticity . By replacing the adjusting rings with different materials, the mechanical properties of the joints can be modified.
