Product Introduction:
Polyacrylamide is mainly used as a flocculant: For sewage with suspended particles that are relatively coarse, high in concentration, and the particles carry positive charges, and the pH value of the water is neutral or alkaline. Since the molecular chain of anionic polyacrylamide contains a certain amount of polar groups, it can adsorb the solid particles suspended in water, causing the particles to form large flocs through bridging. Therefore, it accelerates the sedimentation of particles in the suspension, and has very obvious effects such as accelerating the clarification of the solution and promoting filtration.
Product Uses:
This product is widely used in the treatment of industrial wastewater and waste liquid in the chemical industry and municipal sewage treatment. It is also used in the water treatment of the tap water industry, purification and clarification of high-turbidity water, coal washing, mineral processing, metallurgy, steel industry, zinc and aluminum processing industry, electronics industry, etc. It is widely used in the petroleum industry, including oil extraction, drilling mud, waste mud treatment, preventing water channeling, reducing friction, improving oil recovery, and tertiary oil recovery. It is used as a textile sizing agent, with stable slurry performance, less slurry shedding, low fabric breakage rate, and smooth fabric surface. In the paper industry, first, it can improve the retention rate of fillers, pigments, etc., so as to reduce the loss of raw materials and environmental pollution; second, it can improve the strength of paper (including dry strength and wet strength). In addition, using PAM can also improve the tear resistance and porosity of paper to improve the visual and printing performance, and it is also used in food and tea packaging paper. In the food industry, it is used for the clarification of sugarcane juice and the extraction of syrup by the phosphorus flotation method in the production of cane sugar and beet sugar. In the industrial flocculation and clarification of enzyme preparation fermentation broth, it is also used for the recovery of feed protein, with stable quality and good performance. The recovered protein powder has no adverse effects on the survival rate, weight gain, and egg production of chickens. It is also used in synthetic resin coatings, water plugging of civil engineering grouting materials, the building materials industry to improve the quality of cement, construction adhesives, joint filling repair and water plugging agents, soil improvement, electroplating industry, printing and dyeing industry, etc.
