Product Introduction:
Polyacrylamide is mainly used as a flocculant. For sewage with relatively coarse and highly - concentrated suspended particles carrying positive charges, and with a neutral or alkaline pH value, since the molecular chain of anionic polyacrylamide contains a certain amount of polar groups, it can adsorb the solid particles suspended in water, enabling the particles to form large flocs through bridging. Therefore, it accelerates the sedimentation of particles in the suspension, significantly speeding up the clarification of the solution and promoting filtration.
Product Uses:
This product is widely used in the treatment of chemical industrial wastewater and waste liquid, as well as municipal sewage treatment. It is applied in water treatment in the tap - water industry, purification and clarification of high - turbidity water, coal washing, mineral dressing, metallurgy, steel industry, zinc and aluminum processing industry, electronics industry, etc. It is extensively used in the petroleum industry, including oil extraction, drilling mud, waste mud treatment, prevention of water channeling, reduction of frictional resistance, improvement of oil recovery rate, and tertiary oil recovery. It serves as a textile sizing agent, with stable slurry performance, less slurry shedding, low fabric breakage rate, and a smooth fabric surface. In the paper industry, firstly, it increases the retention rate of fillers, pigments, etc., reducing the loss of raw materials and environmental pollution; secondly, it enhances the strength of paper (including dry strength and wet strength). Additionally, using PAM can also improve the tear resistance and porosity of paper, thereby enhancing the visual and printing performance. It is also used in food and tea packaging paper. In the food industry, it is used for the clarification of sugarcane juice and the extraction of syrup by the phosphorus flotation method in the production of cane sugar and beet sugar. It is used in the flocculation and clarification of enzyme - preparation fermentation broth, and also for the recovery of feed protein, with stable quality and good performance. The recovered protein powder has no adverse effects on the survival rate, weight gain, and egg - laying of chickens. It is used in synthetic resin coatings, water plugging for civil - engineering grouting materials, building - materials industry, improvement of cement quality, building adhesives, joint - filling repair, and water - plugging agents, soil improvement, electroplating industry, printing and dyeing industry, etc.
