Fluorescent brightener is a distyrene-bisbenzimidazole compound with the chemical formula C29H20N2O2 and CAS number 5242-49-9. It appears as bright yellow or yellowish green crystalline powder, with a melting point of 269-271ºC and a density of 1.26g/cm³. It is insoluble in water but soluble in high-boiling-point organic solvents such as trichlorobenzene. This substance exhibits a whitening effect superior to OB-1 in synthetic materials such as polyester fibers, plastic products (such as PET, PC, ABS, PVC), and polyamide. It features good compatibility and low dosage (0.01-0.05% addition amount)

Product Application
1.Fiber Whitening: Effective for synthetic fibers including polyester (PET), nylon (PA), and polypropylene (PP) fibers.
2.Plastic Brightening: Suitable for whitening and brightening polypropylene (PP), ABS, EVA, polystyrene (PS), and polycarbonate (PC) plastics.
3.Polymer Additive: Compatible with conventional polymerization processes for polyester and nylon.
