POM AW-01 Low Friction and High Viscosity/Application in the Automotive Field
POM is a linear polymer with no side chains, high density, and high crystallinity, possessing excellent comprehensive properties. Conductive anti-static POM has high rigidity, high hardness, high mechanical strength, wear resistance, self-lubricating properties, high elastic modulus, chemical resistance and other properties. Conductive POM is made by mixing POM raw materials with carbon fiber, carbon black, metal fiber, metal powder, permanent anti-static masterbatch, etc. It can achieve anti-static, static dissipation, conductivity, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding functions.
POM molecular chains have high flexibility and structural regularity, resulting in high crystallinity and strong crystallization ability. The crystallinity of homopolymer formaldehyde is between 75% and 85%, while that of copolymer formaldehyde is between 70% and 75%. Even with rapid quenching, the crystallinity can reach over 65%. Completely amorphous polyoxymethylene can only be obtained at 100 ℃. It is an engineering plastic with excellent comprehensive performance. The important difference between the two is that homopolymer POM has high density, crystallinity, and melting point, but poor thermal stability, a narrow processing temperature range (about 10 ℃), and slightly lower acid-base stability; However, the density, crystallinity, melting point, and strength of copolymer POM are relatively low, but it has good thermal stability and is not easily decomposed. The processing temperature range is wide (about 50 ℃), and it has good acid-base stability. Compared with polyethylene, POM has shorter carbon oxygen bonds, higher cohesive energy density, and higher density. Has good physical, mechanical, and chemical properties, especially excellent friction resistance. Commonly known as Sai Gang or Duogang, it is the third largest general-purpose plastic.
