The cylinders filled with chlorine, these cylinders will be made of steel which have a good mechanical strength and a good resistance against corrosion. cylinders will be manufactured in accordance with the following technical clauses.
The characteristics and technical specification of the tanks described as below:

Working temperature:-40~60℃
Melting point of fusible metal: 90 °+5 ℃
Welding coefficient: 1.0
thickness of shell : 8mm~12mm(min)
Valves: ¾ “NGT (CL) 1 preferably with Spindle in Monel material
A stainless steel plate will be fixed to each cylinder containing all cylinder data (serial number, working pressure, test pressure, thickness, factory name and logo…)
The serial number and first test date will be stamped on the cylinder body.
Materials used:
Chlorine cylinders are manufactured according to GB5100-2020 with the following special steel plant. The cylinders can be used frequent filling of liquid chlorine under a working pressure of 20bar ,having the following technical date:
Material : Q345R/HP345R
Tensile strength 510~620N/mm2
Yield strength ≥345N/ mm2
Impact strength ≥27J
Working temperature -40~+60℃
Elongation ≥21％
Exterior and interior coating:
The outer covering will be made after sandblasting or shot blasting of:
Test certificate will include that the external surface for cylinder is painted with anti-corrosion painting plus 3 layers of paint resistant to friction, high temperature & acids.
One primary layers of a coating having good corrosion resistance 30um
-one intermediate layers of Glycero enamel 30um
-a yellow finish coat. 30um
Total paint thickness: 90um.
Marking of containers
Plates bearing the identification marks and the regulatory indicators will comply with the relevant regulations or requirements from customer.
