The effectiveness of sodium polyacrylate in concrete:

The efficacy of sodium polyacrylate in bentonite
Thickening effect: Adding sodium polyacrylate to bentonite, when the dosage is appropriate, can increase the viscosity of the aqueous solution and improve the anti segregation properties of bentonite.
Anti seepage function: Sodium polyacrylate can fill the pores of bentonite, absorb water and expand under the action of formation water, form a liquid film on the surface of bentonite, prevent further contact and ion exchange reaction between formation water and bentonite, increase the tortuosity of seepage pores, significantly reduce the permeability coefficient of bentonite, and enhance its anti-seepage performance.
Dispersion effect: Sodium polyacrylate can effectively disperse particles in bentonite, making them more evenly distributed, thereby enhancing the structural and mechanical properties of bentonite materials.
