operation requirement
20L-50L kegs are forbidden to be carried by hand or thrown, and bucket handles or handling tools (such as forklifts) are required.
Heavy barrels over 200L need mechanical handling to avoid deformation or leakage caused by manual movement.
Inspection items
Before loading and unloading, check whether the barrel body is deformed (if the deformation exceeds 10%, it should be stopped immediately) and its tightness.
Second, the storage environment
Basic conditions
Store in a dry and ventilated warehouse to avoid direct sunlight and rain, and the ground should be flat and firm.
Flammable and explosive materials storage area should be equipped with fire and explosion-proof facilities.
Stacking code
The stacking height shall not exceed 3m (land transportation) or 8m (sea transportation), and it shall be fixed with wooden pallet and covered with dust cover.
Third, cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning process
Thoroughly clean the liner before reuse to avoid cross-contamination; Chemical residue barrels need special solvent cleaning.
It is forbidden to use open flame or heat source above 150℃ to heat the barrel.
Periodic inspection
Check whether there are cracks and bubbles in the inner container, and whether the outer steel drum is corroded or the coating falls off.
Fourth, the scrapping standard
Immediate scrapping situation:
The barrel is severely deformed, the weld is cracked or the inner container is damaged.
Failing the air tightness test (such as compressed air immersion test) after containing dangerous goods.
