The iron casting machine is a device that continuously casts iron liquid into iron blocks, used for casting iron blocks with specific shape requirements. The production process flow of this project's iron casting machine is as follows.
The molten iron from the metallurgical furnace flows into the movable double-chain roller-fixed cast iron machine via a metal channel. As the cast iron mold is continuously moved upward by the chain, once it reaches the cooling zone, cooling water is sprayed from top to bottom to accelerate the solidification of the iron block. When the cooled iron block rotates and reaches the active wheel, it falls off the mold due to its own weight. The falling iron block then slides down the chute below the active wheel and is transported to the front iron pile for storage until the next casting cycle.
Individual iron pieces that are difficult to remove from the cast iron mold are automatically cleaned and dislodged by the Iron Piece Removal Device. This process does not cause any damage to the cast iron mold and does not require additional power supply. After being collected by the chute below, these iron pieces are then stored in a centralized location for easy transportation later on.
In order to facilitate the removal of the iron block from the mold, when the cast iron mold that has been emptied of the iron block reaches the point where shotcrete application takes place, the shotcrete pump continuously sprays slurry into the empty interior of the mold. After being dried by the residual heat of the mold, a barrier layer is formed within the interior of the mold (the shotcrete material consists of coal powder slurry or lime slurry or a mixture of both). Once the dried mold continues to operate until it reaches the point where molten iron is poured, it enters the next casting cycle, making it easier for the iron block to detach from the mold on its own.
