Automatic Cupping Testing Machine for Sheet and Strip – Product Overview
Scope
Fully automatic cupping tester is designed to evaluate the plastic-forming behaviour of metal sheets and strips. The unit automatically detects “through cracks” and measures the Erichen cup-up index (IE). A built-in camera with video-replay function allows the exact instant of crack initiation to be identified, giving more precise cup-up values. It is an essential tool for producers of metal sheet and strip, inspection institutes, and steel-research laboratories.

- GB/T 5125 “Method for deep-drawing cup test of non-ferrous metals” (evaluation of planar anisotropy)
