POE is an elastic composite material.
POE (Polyolyaltha Olfin) : Polyethylene octene co-elastomer, is a POE elastic composite material, suitable for children or adultsfor diapers, elastic waist circumference and other materials used, including the inner layer and composite layer, the inner layeris composed of two layers of POE die, double POE film inner layer of positive and negative composite layer, composite layer fornon-woven fabric or plastic film. The non-woven fabric can be made by linear carding method, and the surface of the non-woven fabric or plastic film is an elasticbump, preferably a tooth shape, to further improve the tensile effect of the composite material.
POE application areas:
At present, POE applications are mainly known in three directions: impact modifiers, molded products, and extrusion products. Among them, impact modifiers are widely used, in other words, toughening agents. With the increase of POE addition, the impactstrength and elongation at break of the system have greatly improved, but the corresponding tensile strength, bending strength andbending modulus have decreased, so the POE addition amount is generally below 20%. Due to the similar structure with PP, EVA, EPDM, etc., POE has good compatibility with these materials, and is mostly used formodified EVA shoe midsole, modified PP auto parts (bumpers, fenders, etc.), wire and cable, toys, medical equipment, and so on.
