Charcoal Briquette Binder
# Charcoal Briquette Binder Charcoal briquette binder is a practical material used to turn loose fine charcoal powder into solid, round briquettes. Its main job is to hold the tiny charcoal particles together—so the briquettes don’t break easily when you handle, store, or move them. There are two common types: organic and inorganic. Organic binders (like starch or plant-based materials) are most popular. They burn completely without leaving extra ash, so they won’t affect the charcoal’s heating effect. Inorganic ones (such as clay) are cheaper but may leave more ash. It’s very easy to use. You just mix the binder (usually 2%-5% of the charcoal powder’s weight) with the powder and a little water. Then press the mixture into briquettes. Good binders are non-toxic and eco-friendly, perfect for making briquettes for barbecues, home heating, or even industrial fuel. It also helps reuse fine charcoal powder that would otherwise be wasted, making charcoal use more efficient.
