1.Core parameters 

    a. Ultra-low density: 0.005 - 0.015 g/cm³, it is one of the lightest solid materials known to date, and its density can be adjusted according to the compression ratio. 

    b. Fire resistance performance: Meets UL94-V0 flame retardant grade, suitable for strict fire protection requirements; 

    c. Thermal insulation performance: The thermal conductivity is as low as 0.0221 W/(m·K) (tested by the steady-state plate method), approaching the thermal conductivity level of still air. 

    d. High-temperature resistance: It can be stably applied in high-temperature environments up to 1300°C for a long time, and up to 1600°C for short periods without structural collapse or performance degradation. 

    f. Absorption characteristics: It has electromagnetic shielding performance. 

2. The structural advantages and functional characteristics of SiCf aerogel are as follows: 

    a. Lightweight and high strength: The nanofiber interpenetrating network endows the material with a high porosity (>98%) and mechanical stability, combining low density with compressive resistance. 

    b. Functional integration: Combining the typical characteristics of aerogel (such as sound insulation and corrosion resistance) with the inherent advantages of SiC ceramics (oxidation resistance and thermal shock resistance); 

    c. Processability: The block form supports post-treatment such as cutting and coating, making it suitable for complex engineering scenarios. 

3. Typical application scenarios: 

    It is applicable to fields with high requirements for lightweight and extreme environment tolerance, such as aerospace thermal protection systems, high-temperature industrial equipment insulation layers, and fireproof packaging for new energy batteries.
