Outer Planer
The main function of the plastic pipe outer planer is to accurately cut the outer wall of the port of the plastic pipe, and the specific functions are as follows:
• Trim the port: Remove the burr, flash or uneven part of the outer wall of the port after the pipe is cut, so that the edge of the port is smooth and neat, and avoid poor sealing or damage to the seal during installation due to rough surface.
• Preparation of welding groove: When plastic pipes (such as PE pipes, PPR pipes, etc.) are connected by hot melt or electric fusion welding, the groove of a specific angle (usually a small angle bevel) is cut out by the edge planer to increase the contact area of the pipe during welding, ensure that the welding parts are more tightly and firmly combined, and improve the welding quality and sealing.
• Ensure installation accuracy: Through standardized port processing, reduce the dislocation or gap of pipeline connection, provide a stable foundation for subsequent pipe fitting docking, sealing and other processes, and ensure the installation reliability of the entire pipeline system.
