Set pressure: The safety valve is set with a pressure point at which the valve will open automatically. When the internal pressure of the system reaches or exceeds this point, the safety valve will open automatically.
Spring and Seat: Inside the safety valve, there is a spring and a seat. The spring exerts a downward force to keep the valve closed, while the seat is used to seal the connection between the valve and the valve body.
Opening mechanism: When the system pressure exceeds the set pressure, the compressive force of the spring is insufficient to resist the system pressure. The system pressure will push the valve away from the seat, and the safety valve will open.
Emission pressure: After the valve is opened, the excess pressure is released to the atmosphere through the emission port of the safety valve or directed to other safe emission paths, thereby reducing the system pressure and preventing equipment damage.
Automatic reset: When the system pressure drops below the set value, the spring will push the valve back onto the seat, and the safety valve will close, restoring the sealing state of the system.
