Overview

EI812F is a controller module that uses standard Ethernet as the system communication bus. It is mainly used in ABB field controllers such as AC800F and other devices. It can realize data communication between devices and Ethernet, and provide the system with Ethernet communication functions compliant with the IEEE802.3 standard.

  • Power Supply Related: Supports an optional battery to provide redundant backup for the main memory, and has the function of monitoring and alarming for low battery voltage.

  • Programmable Upgrade: The Ethernet module has its own dedicated communication processing chip, and its firmware program supports upgrading through the system bus, facilitating subsequent maintenance and function expansion.

  • Interrupt Handling: Each module can generate its own interrupts, which can be identified and processed by the system according to different priorities, helping to respond to important events in a timely manner.
