Design description of AKLU70 series curtain wall
Architectural curtain wall is widely used as the exterior decorative wall of modern large and high-rise buildings. The design of AKLU70 series curtain wall is based on the theme that the curtain wall itself is composed of a supporting structural system and panels, has a certain displacement capacity relative to the main structure, and does not share the effects of the main structure. It is based on three main system functions: face sealing, water management and pressure balance. Face sealing walls depend on the perfect seal between the wall and frame units. The water management system includes a drainage system to prevent water from invading the building. However, neither face sealing nor water management systems form an air barrier. The pressure balance system blocks all forces while maintaining airtightness inside the building. The external frame is designed to flush away water and prevent penetration. This is the strongest system that provides reliable air and water resistance.
The biggest advantage of this series of curtain walls is that the contact between the uprights, beams and glass frames uses heat-insulating rubber pads, and the uprights and connecting steel parts use anti-corrosion gaskets, which can effectively prevent contact corrosion between different metals, and prevent the explosion sound caused by the deformation of components when the curtain wall expands and contracts and the components deform. It can also play a heat-insulating role, prevent the formation of thermal bridges, and avoid indoor condensation.
This series of curtain walls use elastic connections between layers, and a certain gap is reserved between the uprights and the main body to meet the thermal expansion and contraction of the curtain wall and the displacement of the main body.
