Inconel 600 Key Features:
Corrosive Media Resistance:
Inconel 600 is resistant to different types of corrosive agents. Its high chromium content allows it better resistance as compared to Alloy 200 or 201.
Immune to Stress Corrosion:
This nickel-chromium alloy demonstrates high immunity to cracking that comes from chlorine stress corrosion.
Organic Acid Resistance:
The alloy 600 shows excellent resistance to corrosive organic acids like formic, acetic, or stearic acid.
Resists Ammonia Atmospheres:
Inconel 600 also shows resistance to atmospheres that house a high amount of ammonia, nitrogen, or carburizing gases.
