Physical and Chemical Properties
- Hair Care: It has a strong affinity for hair, deeply repairs hair damage, mends split ends, and forms a transparent, continuous film on the hair. It also provides excellent moisturizing properties and gives hair superior combing properties, leaving hair soft and smooth, shiny and elastic.

Mainly used in personal care products, such as shampoo, conditioner, advanced liquid soap, shower gel, face wash, moisturizing lotion, sunscreen, styling mousse and so on.
Production and Preparation
Generally, cellulose and etherifying agent are used as raw materials, of which the etherifying agent, epoxypropyltrimethylammonium chloride, is usually prepared by using epichlorohydrin and trimethylamine as raw materials.
