DESCRIPTION
Cryolite is a complex compound or double salt. Its appearance varies due to impurities, ranging from white, gray, or yellow powder to crystalline particles. It has a melting point of 1025°C, a stacking density of 0.6-1.0 g/L, a true density of 2.95-3.05 g/cm³, a heat of formation of 225 kJ, a specific gravity of 2.75-3.00 g/cm³, and a heat of fusion of 107 kJ. Cryolite is slightly soluble in water.

APPLICATION
1.It is mainly used as a flux for aluminum electrolysis;
2.Used as a wear-resistant additive for grinding products, which can effectively improve the wear resistance and cutting force of the grinding wheel, and extend the service life and storage time of the grinding wheel;
3. Used as Flux for ferroalloy and boiling steel;
4. Used as Non-ferrous metal flux;
5. Used as Casting deoxidizer.
