DESCRIPTION
Cryolite is a complex compound or double salt. Its appearance varies due to impurities, ranging from white, gray, or yellow powder to crystalline particles. It has a melting point of 1025°C, a stacking density of 0.6-1.0 g/L, a true density of 2.95-3.05 g/cm³, a heat of formation of 225 kJ, a specific gravity of 2.75-3.00 g/cm³, and a heat of fusion of 107 kJ. Cryolite is slightly soluble in water.

APPLICATION
It is mainly used as a flux for aluminum electrolysis . It is also used as a wear - resistant additive for abrasives ( resin wheels , abrasive cloths ), fluxes for welding consumables ( welding rods , welding wires , fluxes ), and resistance to friction materials ( friction plates , brake pads ). Grinding additives , fluxes for ferroalloys and boiling steels , non - ferrous metal fluxes ( refining agents , slag -removing agents , slag removing agents , etc .), deoxidizer slag removers ,enamel emulsifiers , glass opacifiers , ceramic glaze fillers , Pesticides , insecti-cides , fireworks and firecrackers , explosives , smokers , refractories , etc .

Packaging: Synthetic Cryolite is packaged in laminated plastic woven bag, lined with plastic film bag, 25kg/50kg/1000kg each bag or according to customer requirements.
