The Mark V control system is widely applied in industries such as power generation and petrochemicals within the industrial field. 1. Hardware Composition Relays: Equipped with 21 plug-in relays, these relays serve as the executing components for the tripping action. When an abnormal signal is detected, the contacts of the relays will act, thereby controlling the on-off of the circuit and achieving the tripping operation. Electromechanical relays have a certain degree of reliability, but they are relatively fragile and are easily damaged by external factors such as vibration and impact. Connectors: There are 3 50-pin connectors (with IDs of JLY, JLX, and JLZ) and 2 12-pin connectors (with IDs of JN and JM). These connectors are used for electrical connections with other devices or modules to enable the transmission and interaction of signals. For example, they can receive monitoring signals from sensors and send control commands to other control devices.
2. Working Principle Signal Acquisition: By connecting with various sensors, it can collect the electrical parameters (such as current and voltage) and equipment status information in the system in real time. For instance, it connects with current transformers to obtain current signals and with voltage transformers to obtain voltage signals. Signal Processing and Judgment: The collected signals are processed through operations such as amplification, filtering, and analog-to-digital conversion. Then, the processed digital signals are compared with the preset protection thresholds. If the signals exceed or fall below the set thresholds, it indicates that the system may have faults, such as overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, etc. Execution of Tripping Action: Once it is determined that tripping is required, the microprocessor will send control signals to the relays, causing the relay contacts to act. This, in turn, triggers the tripping of switchgear such as circuit breakers, cutting off the faulty circuit and preventing the further expansion of the fault.
3. Performance Characteristics Reliability: Although the relays are relatively fragile, the entire trip board has undergone strict testing and quality control during the design and manufacturing processes to ensure stable and reliable operation in industrial environments and reduce the probability of misoperation and faults. Response Speed: It can quickly respond to abnormal signals and trigger the tripping action within a short time, effectively protecting the safety of equipment and the system. Compatibility: It has good compatibility with other modules of the Mark V control system and can be conveniently integrated into the entire control system to achieve collaborative operation.
