No291 HDG iron Plug fittings are designed to seal open ended pipes. Simply tap them into place to create a flush seal for your pipe. These can be used with Schedule 40 pipe. The caps are a hot-dipped galvanized finish.

No291 HDG iron Plug fittings are used in various applications like steam, air, water, gas, oil and other fluids.
Malleable iron fittings, also called black iron fittings, are available up to 6 inch nominal pipe size, though they are more common to 4 inches. Malleable fittings include elbows, tees, couplings and floor flange etc
Why can’t I use Rust oleum on galvanized metal?Spray paints will react with the zinc during any stage of the galvanized layer, in a process called saponification. The alkyd-base interacts with the zinc to form a soap at the interface. This will result in poor paint adhesion and paint peeling.
