Tooling board, also named resin board, chemical wood, modeling board or epoxy and pu tooling board, is a material made from epoxy or pu resin ant other filler, used mainly for making prototype, patterns, master model,checking fixtures,vacuum forming mold,stamping mould, casting die.
In general, Tooling Board is made from hollow glass microspheres, epoxy or PU resins, hardeners,aluminum power and other fillers. The fillers vary according to different density and other character.
Most of these tooling boards fall into one of two categories, epoxy and polyurethane. Of course,epoxy tooling board is made from epoxy resin, glass microspheres,and other chemical hardeners. Polyurethane(pu) tooling board
is made from pu resin, glass microspheres, aluminum power and other chemical hardeners.
