Chromite sand powder, the ratios of Cr/Fe often result from 1.5 to 2.1. Chromite ore is the only commercial source of chromium in the industries. Chromite is an iron chromium oxide spinel that occurs naturally in the earth’s crust. The high heat stability property of this material makes it an essential refractory and foundry material. The chromium can be extracted from chromite. This is majorly utilized in Stainless and Tool Steel production, chrome plating, as a pigment for products like paint and glass, and as an oxidizing agent for tanning leather.
Features of 46% Chromite flour 200# for glass bottle green pigment:
1. High refractory temperature, good high-temperature stability, good performance at 1800 ℃, and does not affect the firing of glass products.
2. Good heat shock resistance, corrosion-resistant glass and slag.
