LITELINK's single-chip silicon telephone line interface (DAA) uses optical technology to include the required isolation barrier in the package, eliminating high-cost capacitors or transformers. This solution saves costs by reducing the number of passive components and shrinking PCB space compared to competing solutions. LITELINK supports differential and single-ended receive and transmit ports, providing a simple interface to popular modem ICs, codecs and voice SLAC devices.
