The track is a flexible chain driven by the driving wheel, surrounding the driving wheel, load wheel, guide wheel, and idler wheel. The track is composed of track shoes and track pins. Track pins connect the track plates together to form track chain links. The two ends of the track plate have holes that mesh with the driving wheel, and there are guiding teeth in the middle to align the track and prevent it from falling off when the tank turns or tilts. There are reinforced anti slip ribs (referred to as patterns) on the side in contact with the ground to improve the firmness of the track plate and the adhesion between the track and the ground.
The working conditions of the track are harsh, with sufficient strength and rigidity, good wear resistance requirements, and light weight to reduce metal consumption and reduce dynamic loads during track operation. The track and ground should have good adhesion performance to ensure sufficient traction, and consideration should also be given to reducing resistance during driving and steering
