Digital microprocessor controller 9907-164
The 9907-164 is a digital microprocessor controller or turbine control module manufactured by Woodward Corporation.
The 9907-164 is part of the 505 and 505E microprocessor-based governor control units, specifically designed to operate steam turbines, turbogenerators and turboexpander modules. It can control the turbine by operating a single extraction and/or admission of steam, and use the turbine's staged actuator to drive the steam inlet valve.
In addition, the 9907-164 has a wealth of control functions, including speed control, load control, compressor and turbine start and stop control, and can collect and monitor data related to turbine performance, such as speed, temperature, pressure, etc. It also has a degree of programmability, allowing engineers to configure and adjust to the requirements of a specific application.
The 9907-164 is commonly used in electric power stations, natural gas compression stations, industrial processing plants, and other applications that require turbine control. Mainly used to control different types of turbines, including steam turbines, gas turbines and water turbines, to achieve speed control, load control, compressor and turbine start and stop control and other functions. In addition, it is described as a high performance generator set controller for industrial applications, especially for the operation of steam turbines, turbine generators and turbine-expander modules.
