1、 Definition and classification
Seamless steel pipe is a steel pipe made by piercing the entire round steel without any welds on the surface. The production process of seamless steel pipes includes hot rolling, cold rolling (drawing), etc. The main production processes of hot-rolled seamless steel pipes include billet preparation and inspection, heating, perforation, pipe rolling, steel pipe reheating, sizing (reduction), heat treatment, finished pipe straightening, finishing, inspection, etc. The production process of cold-rolled (drawn) seamless steel pipes is relatively complex, including billet preparation, acid cleaning and lubrication, cold rolling (drawing), heat treatment, straightening, finishing, inspection, etc.
4、 Application field
Seamless steel pipes have a wide range of applications, mainly including the following aspects:
