Product Description
isothiazolinone is a fungicide with the chemical formula C8H9ClN2O2S2, mainly composed of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazoline-3-one (CIT) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazoline-3-one (MIT). Isothiazolinone has a killing effect by breaking the bonds between bacterial and algal proteins. After contact with microorganisms, isothiazolidone can rapidly and irreversibly inhibit their growth, leading to the death of microbial cells. Therefore, it has a strong inhibitory and killing effect on common bacteria, fungi, algae, etc.
Isothiazolinone fungicides are also widely used in fields such as steel smelting, oilfield water injection, refineries, thermal power plants, large fertilizer plants, paper mills, light spinning, water coating, industrial cleaning, etc.
