Product Description
N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone
N-methylpyrrolidone referred to as NMP, the appearance is colorless to light yellow transparent liquid, slightly ammonia odor, miscible with water in any proportion, soluble in ethyl ether, acetone and ester, halogenated hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and other organic solvents, almost completely mixed with all solvents, relatively stable in neutral solution; It is gradually hydrolyzed in concentrated hydrochloric acid to form 4-methylaminobutyric acid. Boiling point 204℃, flash point 91℃, strong hygroscopic, stable chemical properties, no corrosion to carbon steel, aluminum, slightly corrosive to copper. It has the advantages of low viscosity, good chemical stability and thermal stability, high polarity, low volatility, and infinite miscibility with water and many organic solvents.
