Since the introduction of mandatory labeling on packaging, hot stamping systems have been a proven solution. The S-Compact systems are mature, reliable and robust, which they prove everyday even at the highest clock rates.

They are particularly suitable for marking tasks where the print is rarely changed over. To this day, hot stamps are the ideal solution for applying a date or graphic. The result is printed images of the highest quality at low cost.

THE ADVANTAGES OF HOT STAMPING PRINTERS

Compared to thermal transfer printers

Hot stamping printers deliver consistent print quality at very high speeds (up to 800prints/minute)
Hot stampers consist mainly of mechanical components, making service and maintenance uncomplicated
A hot stamping machine is extremely robust and can almost always be repaired economically in practice
High quality use due to the printed image composed of hardened steel engravings. This makes it ideal for applications where the print image only needs to be changed occasionally - e.g. for the recycling mark or the green dot
Longer makeready times compared to thermal transfer printers can be compensated for by using an additional changeover magazine and changeover type holder. This can significantly reduce the time needed for print layout changes or ink film changes.
Problem-free printing on many different materials
Print image is additionally embossed into the product (depending on the surface hardness of the material). This increases process reliability and can also be used as the sole encoding without ribbon
