1 Product Overview

The DAQ-GP-485PIA photovoltaic interface adapter (hereinafter referred to as the adapter) is designed by our company for the latest requirements of State Grid Corporation of China in the field of photovoltaic power  generation. The photovoltaic interface adapter is a device that works in conjunction with a photovoltaic protocol converter to achieve inverter power generation and electricity consumption information collection. Support photovoltaic inverter manufacturers such as Jinlang, Guliwat, Goodway, Huawei, Ottai, Sunshine Power, Chint, Sanjing, Shouhang, Magray, Elsevier, and Hewang. Used for switching between single inverter power consumption information collection system and manufacturer cloud platform dual master login. Expand the original communication RS485 port of the inverter into two channels. While ensuring that communication on the manufacturer's cloud platform is not affected on one channel, connect the other RS485 port to the photovoltaic protocol converter to enable both main stations to collect and issue control commands normally.

The switching structure adopts ARM microcontroller MCU control to achieve channel selection. By default, the manufacturer's RS485 communication channel is selected. When communicating with the protocol converter, a switching command is sent to switch to the power grid's RS485 channel. After communication is completed, it is then switched to the manufacturer's communication channel. The adapter should adopt a unified main structure, and achieve communication and control of inverters with different interfaces by replacing the aviation plug wires that match the inverter interface.

Use RS485 for communication. The default baud rate for RS485 interface communication is 9600bps, with no checksum, 8 data bits, and 1 stop bit. It can adapt to the speed of the inverter 485 interface and achieve automatic serial port matching.

               The converter adopts a rail type installation, which is convenient and reliable to install

5.2 Port Definition

Interface 1: Install the original inverter 4G module (acquisition rod) in this position.

Interface 2: Install the aviation plug to the original safety device (adapter including 1.5 meters of cable) of the corresponding photovoltaic inverter 4G module (acquisition rod).

Interface 3: Connect to the RS485 interface of the corresponding photovoltaic protocol converter (the adapter includes a 1.5 meter cable).

5.3 Installation and wiring precautions

Common issues with RS485 cable wiring:

The RS485 line of the adapter is reversed from the RS485 line of other devices;

Short circuit between adapter RS485 line A and line B; The aviation plug is not installed properly.

7 Transportation and storage

This product should not be subjected to severe impact during transportation and unpacking. Inventory and storage should be stored on racks in their original packaging conditions, with a stacking height of no more than 5 layers. The storage area should be clean, with an ambient temperature not exceeding -45 ℃ to+85 ℃ and a relative humidity not exceeding 75%. The air should be free of corrosive gases and mold.

8 Precautions
