Product Description
2,2'-Methylenebis(6-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol)
2,2' -methylene bis -(4-methyl-6-tert-butyl phenol) pure white powder, long-term exposure to air slightly yellowish-pink. Slightly phenolic odor. Easily soluble in benzene, acetone and other organic solvents, insoluble in water, solubility in rubber is higher than 2%.

Product application
1. General phenolic antioxidant, widely used in natural rubber, synthetic rubber, latex, other synthetic materials and petroleum products as antioxidant 2. Antioxidant (2, 2-methylene bis -(4-methyl-6-tert-butylphenol)) is a highly efficient non-polluting antioxidant with excellent properties. In the rubber industry, antioxidant 2246 is an antioxidant of synthetic rubber, latex and natural gum, and is one of the better varieties of phenolic antioxidants. The rubber products added with antioxidants can resist thermal oxygen aging, partly prevent the destruction of light ozone aging and multiple deformation. And can passivate salts of variable metals. Used in light and colored rubber products, in the plastics industry, the antioxidant 2246 can prevent the thermal and optical aging of chlorinated polyethers, impact resistant polystyrene, ABS resins, polyformaldehyde, cellulose resins.
