Liquid nitrogen tanks can be divided into two types according to cell storage modes: gas phase and liquid phase storage modes.
In the gas phase, samples are stored in volatile nitrogen; in the liquid phase, samples are directly immersed in liquid nitrogen for low-temperature preservation.
However, due to different capacities, not all cells can be stored in gas-phase storage mode. Only cells with more than 10,000 cells can use gas-phase liquid nitrogen tanks. If there are more than a thousand cells that need to be preserved in the gas phase, how can this be achieved?
You can choose the cryobank series liquid nitrogen tank, which is specially designed for a small number of cells that require gas phase storage. It has the storage mode of the YDD series and the conventional capacity of the YDS series. It can be regarded as a mini version of the YDD stem cell liquid nitrogen tank or the YDS series liquid nitrogen tank. An upgraded version of the nitrogen tank.
The following are the features of cryobank series liquid nitrogen tanks:
1. 4 models, namely 65 liters, 95 liters, 145 liters, and 175 liters, supporting the storage of 2400, 3600, 4800, and 6000 2ml cryovials;
2. Each model is equipped with 6 square buckets for storing freezing boxes and freezing tubes;
3. There are two storage modes: gas phase and liquid phase. When storing in the gas phase, the temperature at the top of the tank can reach below -190°C; therefore, it can be called a small gas-liquid-phase liquid nitrogen tank, a small gas-phase tank, and a small low-temperature biobank.
4. Comes with a liquid level sensor that can monitor the liquid level in the tank in real time, which is safe and reliable.
5. Intelligent control display system, real-time monitoring of internal temperature and liquid nitrogen consumption;
6. Vacuum insulation structure and hot gas bypass design ensure uniform and stable internal temperature;
7. It is adapted to the self-pressurizing liquid nitrogen tank and has an automatic replenishing function, which is convenient and fast, saving manpower.
8. Supports remote alarm (voice/SMS/WeChat, etc.), and has intelligent local and cloud data backup and export functions.
In addition, the small gas-liquid phase liquid nitrogen tank also has the same one-click defogging as the YDD biological sample library, which helps users quickly locate cells and reduces the loss of liquid nitrogen caused by opening the lid.
