This product is a Profibus DP redundant fiber optic link module that enables mutual conversion between single bus (M-port) and dual redundant bus (A, B port). It can convert a single cable bus into a redundant Profibus DP bus or a redundant Profibus DP bus into a single cable bus. The data received from port M is broadcasted to ports A and B, but the data from ports A or B is forwarded to port M on a first come selection basis, establishing only one working path at the same time. The device monitors communication status in real-time, and when the receiver of the working port detects a bus fault, it switches to a redundant port, and vice versa. The device supports setting fixed or adaptive rates with dial switches, and supports 10 commonly used rates on the Profibus DP bus.
This device can be directly placed behind the Profibus DP master station to convert a single cable bus into a redundant bus; It can also be placed at the slave station to convert redundant buses into non redundant cables, while also having performance such as photoelectric isolation and reducing interference. The product features industrial grade design, IP30 protection level, corrugated aluminum reinforced casing, 35mm guide rail installation, DC (12-36V) wide power input, relay alarm output, dual power redundancy protection, and other advantages.
