SKL Rail Clip are used with railway sleeper to fasten rails on both sides. The rail clips are usually made of forged spring steel, which are manufactured by hot forging process. The forged rail clips are considered to be better than other metal forming process due to most uniform micro-structure.

 Raw Material for Elastic Rail Clip

Elastic rail clips are made of high quality spring steel bar. Spring steel is used in the manufacture of springs and other elastic parts prominently in automotive and industrial suspension applications. These steels are generally low-alloy Manganese, medium-carbon steel or high-carbon steel with a very high yield strength. Spring steel has excellent comprehensive performance like mechanical properties, performance by the bullet-proof, fatigue, hardenability, physical and chemical properties. The raw materials of elastic rail clip mostly include 55Si7, 60Si7, 65Si7, 55SiCr7, 60Si2Mn, 60Si2Cr, 55Si2Mn, and 38Si7 grade of spring steel.
