316L Five-layer sintered mesh filter disc is a highly durable and efficient filtration material that is created by bonding together five layers of wire mesh with varying openings and diameters through a process called sintering. This process involves bonding the contact points of the wire meshes together in a vacuum, resulting in a seamless, porous material with enhanced mechanical strength, high permeability, and superior structural integrity.
The sintering procedure boosts the mechanical strength of the coarser support layers while maintaining the filtration rating of the finest mesh layer. Additionally, heat and pressure are used to create molecular diffusion-welds at every intersection of the wire mesh, further improving the temperature and pressure resistance of the sintered mesh. 316L Five-layer sintered mesh filter disc is widely used in gas distribution, polyester filtration, water treatment, and other applications where reliable and high-quality filtration is required.
