Input and output modules: These modules can be analog and/or digital, working separately or hot standby.

System Cabinets: These modules can compress one or more chassis within a single cabinet.

Assembly cabinet: Adapt and standardize the interface connection between on-site instruments and Triconex system cabinets.

Engineering Workstation (EWS): This is used for programming, monitoring, troubleshooting, and updating.

The Triconex main processor can communicate with the TriStation 1131 application software to download, update, and/or monitor programs. These programs can be written in functional block diagrams, ladder diagrams, or structured text. In addition, event sequence (SOE) recorder software and diagnostic monitoring software have also been implemented.
